Stoney Creek Model Tour

Next model on the tour...Stoney Creek.

This is the view looking from the kitchen into the living room. You'll notice the blank wall over the console which now has a TV installed. I left that to the specialist!

I'm loving this rug below from West Elm. One secret from the Pottery Barn brands is that you can save big if you wait for a sale. "Buy more, Save more" is one of my favorites. If you are eyeing something, most likely they will eventually have it on sale so you don't have to be a designer to get designer prices necessarily.

This is the view looking back into the kitchen. Sometimes I try to mix up the seating at a table to keep it interesting. This is a great bench to separate the bar and breakfast area.

It's nice to see the detail on the back of the bench from this angle.

I don't always put items above kitchen cabinets but sometimes it just feels like it is needed. These clay pots bring in the color from the art in the living room to help tie those rooms together.

This home had a bonus room upstairs so I decided to put a couple of desks up there because working and schooling from home has created a need this like never before. It's also a nice space to relax, watch movies and play games. A storage ottoman helps keep clutter under control.

Below is the bath off of this room with a little reminder to wash your hands!

Open shelving can be tricky but storage bins help keep even the most unsightly items looking pretty and organized!

In the girl's room upstairs, I went off course a color wise to represent the local high school colors.

You might think that putting a large 4 poster bed in a secondary bedroom would be overwhelming but I think it makes the ceiling seem taller and by putting it in a corner, it leaves a lot of open space in the room.

A baseball themed room finishes off the upstairs.

Back to the downstairs for the last two rooms in the house. The master bedroom and bath continue with the colors throughout the house which are perfect calming colors for those rooms.

I hope you enjoyed the tour. More to come later...
