Keylime Cottage House Tour

My mom and Stanley are selling their, oh so cute, beach house so I thought I better do a house tour before it's sold. They are building a new one which I was supposed to help decorate this last weekend but the builder wasn't ready for us so we got to have a nice relaxing family weekend at the beach instead. On with the tour...

I love bright colors at the beach, don't you? Oh, and by the way, I want to name my house in San Antonio. I think every house needs to have a name. Except I think I would call it, "I wish I was a beach house instead." Too long to hang over the door.:( That won't work.

This sofa is soooo comfy. I'm going to miss it.
There's my beautiful mommy. Can you tell she used to be a model? Well, I guess technically now she still is.

My favorite room in the house. I love everything about it, the concrete floors, the stained wood ceiling, the painted wood walls, the open shelving, the turquoise cabinets, the table with benches and that awesome chandelier. I could go on and on....

The screened in porch is a great place to entertain. You can hear the waves crashing and the palm trees blowing in the wind. There is usually a nice breeze. The perfect area to enjoy a cold adult beverage!
A bright and cheery Master bedroom.
The kid's bunks.
A cozy guest room. There is another bedroom that I couldn't photograph because it was too stuffed with items for the new house. Maybe next time...
Kids Bath.
I didn't get all of the bathrooms either because we are a messy bunch at the coast. Who wants to clean?
Another day in paradise and it could be yours. It's on the market with Whitten Real Estate in Port Aransas, Texas.

Now here are some sneak peaks at the new beach house that I'm going down this weekend to help decorate.

Three stories; I better bring the advil. They better get those railing up. I've been known to trip once in a while.
I love the smell of wood and paint. It's intoxicating!
My boys on the tour. They're used to going into houses under construction. Can you tell they're thrilled?

Aren't those blue concrete floors cool. I can't wait to get down there and get started. There's nothing more fun than decorating a beach house. I hope you'll come back to see the final results.
